Standard Terms & Conditions of Sale

IMPORTANT NOTICE: By placing an order for firewood with M&M Firewood (whether online, by phone, via text, in person, or through a third party), you explicitly agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all orders without exception.

1. Acceptance of Terms
   Any placement of an order, scheduling of a delivery, or arrival for a pickup constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms. No employee or representative of M&M Firewood has the authority to alter or waive these terms for any reason.
   
   
2. Loading & Pick-Up Liability (If Applicable)
   Machine Loading: If you request or permit M&M Firewood personnel to load firewood into your vehicle, truck, or trailer using heavy machinery (tractors, forklifts, skid-steers), M&M Firewood assumes absolutely no responsibility for any resulting damage to windows, tailgates, tires, suspension, or bodywork, equipment, tools or personal items in or out of the vehicle, truck or trailer.
   
   Overloading: It is the customer’s sole responsibility to know their vehicle’s weight limits. M&M Firewood is not liable for structural or mechanical damage caused by overloading.
   
   Securing the Load: Customers are entirely responsible for securing their load (using tarps, straps, or nets) before leaving the property.
   
   
3. Delivery Terms & Property Access (If Applicable)
   Drop Points: Deliveries will be made to the curb or driveway. M&M Firewood drivers will not drive onto lawns, unpaved surfaces, or tight residential spaces where property damage could occur.
   
   Property Damage Waiver: If you specifically request a driver to navigate onto your property past the curb line, M&M Firewood is completely released from liability for any damage to driveways, concrete, lawns, sprinkler heads, fences, underground utilities, or structures.
   
   
4. Product Variance & Wood Quality
   
   Natural Product: Firewood is a natural product. Dimensions, shapes, moisture content, and piece sizes will vary naturally within any order.
   
   Storage: Once delivered or picked up, proper storage (keeping the wood covered and elevated) is entirely the customer's responsibility to prevent rot, mould, or excessive moisture absorption.
   
   
5. Finality of Sales & Payment
   
   All Sales Final: Once firewood is dropped off at a delivery location or loaded onto a customer's vehicle, the sale is final. No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be issued.
   
   Payment Obligations: Payment is due prior to delivery/pickup as agreed. Failure to pay will result in the immediate cancellation of the order and potential recovery fees.
   
   Customer Acknowledgment
   By placing your order and paying for your firewood, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
